We have a large selection of fiction books, as well as non-fiction.There are books offered in both of these genre’s to suit all ages.Come and see what Barb’s just ordered! We have new books coming all the time. Look for our current books on display near our circulation desk.
All current magazines that we offer are on display for all to enjoy. You may browse them or photocopy any information you would like (for a small fee of .15 cents a page). Aside from our current monthly issues, all others are available for checkout.
Our selection ranges from Sports Illustrated, Martha Stewart Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Cooking Light and that’s just to name a few. Come and see, they are all located in our new media room along with our newspapers.

The library has a wide range of video tapes & DVDs available. Some are educational and some are for your entertainment.
Video tapes and DVDs may be checked out for a maximum of seven (7) days. There is a $1.00 overdue fee per video/DVD per day. Please rewind your videos – we charge a $1.00 fee per video for all videos returned without having first been rewound.
Ricker Memorial Library also has a small cd collection for your listening enjoyment, all are available for check-out.
Kill-A-Watt Energy Detector
Ricker Library now has Kill-A-Watt Energy Detectors available for loan. These wonderful little devices can be used to determine how much energy the electronic devices in your house are using. In essence: IT WILL HELP YOU KNOW HOW YOU CAN CUT YOUR ELECTRIC BILL AND SAVE MONEY! We have two Kill-A-Watt Energy Detectors and they are available for a one week loan. They must be returned in one week. There is a $1 fee for every day they are overdue. These items also cannot be put in the book drop, so please return them when we are open. If there is a storm and we are closed on the day the device needed to be returned you will not be charged an overdue fee.
