CHEWONKI OWLS OF MAINE:    April 18 @ 2:30  TUESDAY

OWLS OF MAINE: Habits and Adaptations of Maine’s Native Owls. Two live owls are the highlights of this program, which introduces participants to the owls native to Maine & New England.

Beginning with slides and sounds * participants will learn the identifying characteristics and calls of each owl. Then, using talons, wings and skulls, we explore the adaptations of these silent nocturnal hunters.  This program ends with an intimate and detailed look at live owls, bringing these creatures of the night into the light!

AUDIO BOOKS: *************************************************************************************************************************************************

We have a great selection of these books which are really expensive to buy. These audios are checked when they are returned and many are coming back dirty with finger prints and lots of scratches. They can be washed but the scratches on them cannot be fixed. Please be careful when taking them out so that we all can enjoy listening to these stories with no skipping CDs. Please do not attempt to clean them yourselves because they are delicate. Thank you for your understanding.
