Like Art?
Do you like art? Do you like a variety of art? Maybe you like art, but, like many of us, can't afford to continually buy new pieces? If that's so, then the library has the answer! Thanks to the generous donations of many people, the library has several pieces of art available for two week loan. Yes, they go out just like books! Pieces that are available for loan include: "Child in a Straw Hat" by Mary Cassatt, "Flowers in a Vase" by Auguste Renoir, "A View of Salisbury Cathedral" by John Constable, "Lumber Schooners at Evening on Penobscot Bay" by Fitz Hugh Lane, "The Mill" by Rembrandt van Ryn, and "Hide and Seek" by James Jacques Joseph Tissot. All of our paintings are prints and are loaned already framed.
