On August 18, at 6:00PM, at Cyndi's Dockside, the Ricker Library will bring to you comedian Karen Morgan. Hailed as "The Funniest Lawyer North and South of the Mason-Dixson Line", Karen is licensed to practice law in both Maine and Georgia. However, her comedy focuses more on "the comedy of life" as opposed to trials in the courtroom. Expect an evening of stand-up comedy "through the perceptive eyes of a loving wife and mother, prepared with the tenacity of an attorney, and tempered with a dash of southern charm." "Karen hits home with men and women alike."

Tickets are $37.50 per person and includes meal choice of roast prime rib, herbed chicken, or baked haddock (there is also a special dish for strict vegetarians), and all meals come with a tossed salad, mashed Red Bliss potatoes, and green beans. Dessert will be a choice of a brownie sundae or strawberry shortcake. Hot or cold non-alcoholic beverages will also be included, and alcoholic drinks will be available for additional cost.
