“Vulture Peak”
“Vulture Peak” by John Burdett is a mystery book set in Bangkok with visits to Hong Kong, Monte Carlo and Phuket. The book focuses on the growing problem of stolen human organs and the trafficking thereof. If you want to read an entertaining book and learn about the goings on in exotic places, you will enjoy this one. You simply have to love a cop with the name Sonchai Jitpleecheep whose sidekick is a cross-dressing woman wannabe, and whose boss is a crooked bigshot! There is nothing ordinary about “Vulture Peak”, and that by itself is refreshing.
